Plastics
The plastics workshop offers students a wide range of options for in-depth work with various plastic materials. The work with the students is always project-based. As such, no general introductory courses are offered. Instead, great emphasis is placed on extensive project consultation before starting work.
Technically speaking, a variety of different casting and laminating resins are used in addition to classic molding techniques like silicone molds and GRP moldings. Furthermore, there is the opportunity to work with the vacuum thermoforming process as well as with different sheet materials.
Upon request, we offer individual introductions to various stationary machines such as band saws or circular saws.
